My Pilates Story
I originally studied to be an accountant, and it was while working in Sydney for a chartered accounting firm that I was first introduced to Pilates through corporate matwork sessions in the board room at lunchtime. From the very first session I loved the feeling in my body, I loved the precision of movement and the control required. I loved that it could be done anywhere, with just your body and a mat.

Eventually I went on to discover Studio Pilates, and while matwork was my first love, I quickly became enamoured with the original studio equipment invented by Joseph Pilates, and the amazing versatility it offers. After a couple of years living in Europe I returned to Sydney and undertook my comprehensive Pilates training, completing a Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction with Pilates International Training Centre. I never went back to accounting. I later completed my Advanced Diploma in the Pilates Method, and actually received my Diploma in the mail on the same day that my daughter was born.

Even after all these years I continue to learn and evolve as a teacher. I'm forever intrigued with the human body and the way that Pilates can help us all to live better in the bodies that we inhabit. I have a positive and encouraging style of teaching, and truly love what I do. I cannot wait to share it with you!
